The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
